| There are still places available to run in the Great North Run on the 5th October to raise money for local charity Age Concern North Tyneside.
With the standard entry fee of £40, we are challenging runners to raise £200 in sponsorship to support the work of Age Concern’s befriending and enabling scheme, Life Choices. Through this project we offer a range of help to enable older people to remain independent, have greater personal wellbeing, have better access and involvement within their local community and stay in their own homes for longer. There’s plenty of time to get in practice so now is a great time to decide to run the half marathon for a good cause. Wear an Age Concern running vest and help older people make more of life. |
